Anyone that has ever tried to create a pop-up system to display images will know it can be tough to make it automated, and even harder to make it look good.

There are now a few different developers who have released free LightBox scripts that will make this job much easier.

They allwork well, so which you pick is simply down to aesthetic tastes.

I quite like Shadowbox ( Shadowbox.js by Michael J. I. Jackson )
